My name is James Anderson, and I’m organizing this fundraiser in memory of someone who meant the world to me my father-in-law, who bravely fought pancreatic cancer but sadly passed away earlier this year. Losing him has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but in his honor, I’m determined to do something meaningful.
To raise awareness and funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK, I’ve decided to take on a challenge that pushes me far outside my comfort zone: skydiving. At the end of August or the beginning of September, I’ll be jumping out of a plane, not just for the thrill, but to raise money for a cause that is now deeply personal to me.
Pancreatic cancer is an aggressive and unforgiving disease. It often goes unnoticed until it’s too late, robbing families of precious time with their loved ones. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to better treatments, early detection, and ultimately, saving lives.
This skydive is my way of honoring my father-in-law’s legacy and showing my commitment to the fight against pancreatic cancer. While the jump will be challenging, it’s nothing compared to the battle faced by those living with this disease.
Please join me in supporting Pancreatic Cancer UK. Your contribution will fund essential research, provide support to patients and families, and help raise the profile of this devastating illness. Together, we can make a difference. Thank you for your generosity and for being part of this mission.
