My name is Hannah Castro and I’m organizing this fundraiser in memory of someone who meant the world to me my friend Julie, who bravely fought Breast cancer but sadly passed away earlier this year. Losing her has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but in her honor, I’m determined to do something meaningful.
To raise awareness and funds for Breast cancer Washington, I’ve decided to take on a challenge that pushes me far outside my comfort zone: reaching out to people to help cancer patients around my country and the world at large. I want to raise money for a cause that is now deeply personal to me.
Breast cancer is an aggressive and unforgiving disease. It often goes unnoticed until it’s too late, robbing families of precious time with their loved ones. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to better treatments, early detection, and ultimately, saving lives.
This fund raiser is my way of honoring my mother and my very good friend's legacy and showing my commitment to the fight against Breast cancer.
